BellyFull is a metaphor.​​
It is that feeling after a meal shared with people you love. Nourished. Satisfied. Connected. That is how we think about storytelling. When a story is told right it does not just inform. It feeds something. It stays with people long after the screen goes dark.

Every film we make for a law firm is built around that idea. Not a polished corporate video. Not a talking head in front of a bookshelf. A real story, told cinematically, that makes a potential client feel something they did not expect to feel about a law firm.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
It started with his grandfather's old camcorder. He was ten years old, filming ghost hunts in the backyard, skits with his sister, family moments nobody asked to be recorded. He did not know it then, but that was the job. Finding the story in ordinary life. Pointing a camera at real people and making them forget it was there.

Years later he strapped a GoPro to a bicycle and spent four months riding across the country from Asheville to New Mexico, filming everything he saw. The people he met along the way convinced him of two things. That real people have extraordinary stories. And that telling those stories was going to be his life. He came home and built BellyFull Films.

Before that, he played rugby at a competitive level. A sport that teaches you to trust the person next to you completely, stay composed when everything is chaotic, and finish what you started no matter what. Those are not bad qualities in a filmmaker.

He got his start in law firm video working inside the largest law firm growth company in the country. What he found inside those firms changed the direction of everything. Attorneys are not just service providers. They are the people changing lives every single day. Thurgood Marshall was not just a lawyer. He changed what America was allowed to be. Every attorney walking into a courtroom, fighting for a family after a car accident, defending someone who cannot defend themselves, or challenging a system that failed their client is doing something that matters. Their story deserves to be told. For a documentary filmmaker, there is no better subject in the world.
